Abstract Submission

1- Communication format

Communications may be sent in Spanish or English, indicating the preference in terms of oral presentation or in the form of a poster. 

2.- Structure of the abstract

The text will have a maximum length of two A4 pages, written in Times New Roman 11 pt and with a margin of 3 cm both left and right, with simple spacing between lines. The template to present the communication, along with other indications on the format and content of the communication, can be downloaded here:

  • If the work has been done by several authors, the name of the author who makes the presentation should be underlined.
  • The order and suggested sections are the usual ones in any scientific presentation: Introduction, Material and methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusions and References. You can also include a section of acknowledgments in the case that the work has been funded / granted and must state this fact.
  • Save the file using the last name of the author presenting the communication, such as "Surname.doc". The communication must be sent to sefig2019@gmail.com, indicating preference in terms of oral presentation or in the form of a poster.
  • The registration of the author presenting the communication is mandatory. The submission of more than two papers by the same author will not be admitted.

The deadline for sending communications is September 15, 2018.

 

Presentation Guidelines

Oral Presentation

Time: 12 minutes plus 3 minutes for questions.

Selected speakers are required to contact the organizers at least 4 hours before their session. Please note that the meeting´s computers are being supplied with Windows Office 2010.

Flash Presentation

Time: 6 minutes sharp without questions.

The speakers must follow the presentation template already attached with the acceptance email. The file should be saved as F-number (PO-number)-presenter name, and should be sent to SEFIG2019@gmail.com between January 10th and 20th. The presenter should contact the organizers at least one hour before the session. Poster preparation should follow the guidelines stated below.

Poster Presentation

Posters should not exceed 85 cm in width and 100-120 cm in hight and should be legible from a distance of 2-3 meters. The authors are requested to stand next to their poster during the poster viewing sessions.

All posters may be presented throughout the meeting, preferably from Wednesday January 23th at 15.00-15.30 h to Friday January 25th at 14.00h. The Organizing Committee is not responsible for posters that have not been removed after 15.00 h on Friday.
