The Spanish Society of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology is formed by pharmacists and other graduate people with professional activity in the fields of pharmaceutical research and development, fabrication and quality control, as well as of teaching and research in pharmaceutical technology, biopharmaceutics and pharmacokinetics in the pharmaceutical industry, academia and health institutions.

SEFIG has as its missions the following.
1. To contribute to the professional development of its members by means of the exchange of knowledge and methods.
2. To analyze and to debate the problems that its members have jointly and to propose possible solutions to the same ones.
3. To foment the necessary critical reflection on the problems that the Industrial Pharmacy and the Pharmaceutical Technology raises, in the different professional areas. To collaborate actively with national and international associations which aims are coincidental or parallel.
4. To promote cooperative and mutualists movements among its affiliates.
5. To promote all those means and actions that facilitate the communication of works and researches in the field of t the Industrial Pharmacy and the Pharmaceutical Technology and related sciences.
6. To support all those steps that lead to the human and professional enrichment of its partners and of the society in general.
